Mata Gujri Public School is a co-educational english medium school with accommodation facilities. However a state-of-the-art hostel is in the making. Children from Grades 1st-XI enjoy the benefits of a full day's education that keeps them purposefully engaged in learning. However, day-boarding facility is optional. Learning by doing is the best way to learn. Therefore, at Mata Gujri Public School. We supplement our lessons witha lot of activity-based work in the form of worksheets. These have been designed to ensure reinforcement of lessons as well as assessment of the learning ability of children.

The magnificent school building has been made for the learners. All classrooms are well-illuminated and auto-sensor controlled. The library is stocked with international range of books, magazines and other reading material and students get to learn in very modern science and computer laboratories. Classroom teaching is made interesting with the latest Audio-Visual aids which facilitates life long learning.

Morning Assembly

The unique part of the morning assembly at Mata Gujri Public School is that the children conduct it themselves. Besides the news of the day and weather report, It includes and interactive session with the Principal. A 'thought of the day' imbibes values among Children. There are special celebrations on festival and marked occasions. Everyone participates with enthusiasm and sincerity.

The school aims at an all round development of boys and girls ; physical, emotional and intellectual with consciousness towards social obligations, Indian art, culture, music, dance, yoga and languages. We not only lay emphasis on the educational development of our pupils but for their inner essence of deep knowledge also. We have tailored a magnificent corner for the "Montessory Section" Here teaching is developed to suit the needs of the student by involving them in the learning process and keeping their interest with the turning way of environment. The section facilitates an Odornful beginning for the blooming buds of MGPS.

The Campus

The origin of the school in the region of Ferozepur district dates back to 2001 in the sacred memory of Mata Gujri Ji, the great and brave mother of our Dashmesh Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Wife of Great Martyr Guru Teg Bahadur Ji, Grandmother of Great Martyrs- Four Sahibzadas.
